They document mostly the circulating history of a company, from foundation to insolvency or acquisition. The first stock issued in financial history took place in Amsterdam in 1606 by Vereenigte Oostindische Compagnie (VOC).

The collector’s value of old shares, bonds and other financial documents is determined by offer and demand. Highly different demands in unique special areas may lead to strong price fluctuation. The collector’s value of an old share is determined by different factors like state of preservation, issued quantity, company name or the current demand for historical share and bond certificates.

Therefore the exact collector’s value of a historical share cannot be established with precision. The declaration of value of historical shares in different collectors catalogues should be regarded sceptically, as they are mostly calculated by the editor of the catalogue or by a collector. The same applies to auctions of historical shares with a reduced number of bidders. The result lists arising there from should not be given too much attention, as these are generated by individual collectors from specific collection areas and cannot reflect the market reality

Among others, the state of preservation of the old share, issuing date, quantity of issued units, brand awareness, original signature, print image and other criteria are relevant to calculate prices. Hereby old shares and bonds will continue to be affordable at a realistic price.

Historical share and bond certificates have traces of circulation corresponding to their age. Some certificates are not so well preserved and some are very well preserved. HISTORICAL SHARES - PURCHASING

We advise you to purchase old stocks and bonds only in dealers.
As a customer and in case you’re not satisfied, you’re entitled to a refund which you can claim within a determined period of time. We deliver worldwide and in case the ordered historical share is returned, the purchase price will be reimbursed.

Respect seriousness. Each individual historical certificate is delivered in a stable package. Because each certificate is a rarity. Furthermore you will get an invoice with the admitted tax portion.

Respect quality. Read the description corresponding to an offered historical share carefully. Old shares, bonds and certificates, even though they might show an aged but good state of preservation, always have a high collector’s value.
